GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF BUSINESS

1. REQEST AND BOOKING

ATIS accepts your request in written form per fax, mail or e-mail. Your request must contain:

  • travel date, travel region, event. name of the general ATIS program offer 
  • amount of travelers, needed allotment, hotel name and country, hotel category

ATIS produces all brochures, offers and packages with programs free of charge. Booking will be accepted as long as the service in questions is available.

Your booking will be considered as confirmed only after receiving a signed reconfirmation – a contract – either by fax or by mail or e-mail. The signature means that the client accepted the general conditions listed below, mainly those concerning the travel date, price, allotment, services included, cancellation and payment conditions.

2. PAYMENT

The client informs ATIS about the amount of sold rooms before the deadline for free cancellation. ATIS make out an invoice for the booked services with the following regulations:

  • prepayment 50% of the total amount must be paid at least30 days prior arrival date
  • the rest payment must be paid at least 7 days prior arrival date

 

We recommend to send a bank confirmation about your payment per e-mail. Client´s payment must contain the ATIS-reservation number. After receiving the total amount, ATIS makes out vouchers for booked services which entitle the client to consume the services without payment on the spot.

The end invoice will be made out latest 28 days after departure of the client.

3. SERVICES AND PRICES

The extension and type of services specifies the ATIS brochure as well as the information in the ATIS-confirmation of booking. The prices are given NETTO without further deductions.

4. CHANGE OF SERVICES AND PRICES

In case of change of travel services which were stated in the confirmation of booking, ATIS will try to find a acceptable solution or compensation for the client. ATIS will try to prevent all price changes. ATIS advises all eventual price changes in advance. The new price will be valid after approval of the client.

5. CANCELLATION CONDITIONS

The client is allowed to cancel the booking (without giving ATIS the reasons) free of charge generally until 35 days prior arrival date. Exceptions are stated in the offer / confirmation of order. Cancellations must be delivered in written form. The date of cancellation is the date of receiving the cancellation at ATIS.

ATIS endeavor to prevent all cancellation fees. If suppliers require cancellation fees and these are mandatory to be paid (late or no cancellation of the client by ATIS), ATIS will charge only the provable cancellation fees to the client.

Cancellation fees are not applicable by general accepted reasons when the client is disabled to make the journey by unpredictable matters (as war, disasters, accidents, strikes, epidemics, boarder blockage etc.).

6. RECISION OF CONTRACT BY THE TOUROPERATOR

ATIS has the right to cancel the booking in case the payment has not been received within the agreed terms. ATIS has the right to cancel the booking in case of unpredictable matters which disable the suppliers to deliver the booked services and if the client had not accept the alternative offer. In this situation, ATIS transfer all prepayments back to the client at least 14 days after recision of contract from ATIS side or denied alternative from the client side.

7. NOT CONSUMED SERVICES BY THE CLIENT

ATIS will not cover the costs of not consumed services (partially or at all) which the client booked and paid in advance.

8. GUARANTEE AND LIABILITY

ATIS guarantees a dutiful preparation of the booked journey, a careful choice of supplier and the correct descriptions of the services as well as the regions. All deficiencies during the travelling must be reported to ATIS immediately and without delay. The client has to inform the supplier whose services are unsatisfactory on the spot and has to require a supplier confirmation about the missing / poor services.

All claims and reclamations must be delivered to ATIS in written form, deadline for the client is 30 days after the departure. ATIS settles all claims without delay. The whole procedure runs between the client and ATIS + ATIS and the supplier.

9. LEGAL JURISTICTION

Court of appeal and arbitration is Ostrava –  Czech Republic.

10. FINAL DISPOSITION

For some bookings, special conditions can be negotiated. That is the case when special conditions replace these General Conditions. All special regulations must be stated in written form.
